Baseball Betting Rules

Fairdeal Sportsbook Baseball Betting Rules

FairDeal takes sports betting action on all MLB sportsbook and College World Series events. Placing wagers for baseball betting includes, but is not limited to, the following sports betting wagers:
FairDeal monyeline sports betting offered each game
FairDeal offers total baseball betting (over/under) each game.
FairDeal run Line offered each game.
FairDeal offers overnight lines each game.
FairDeal offers proposition wagers on selected sportsbook events (Playoffs and World Series).
FairDeal winners and losers are official after 5 innings of play unless the home team is leading after 4 1/2 innings.
• If a baseball game is called or suspended, the FairDeal winner is determined by the score after the last full inning (unless the home team scores to tie, or takes the lead in the bottom half of the inning, in which case the FairDeal winner is determined by the score at the time the game is called). Monies will be refunded if the home team ties the game and it is then suspended.
• When placing wagers on total runs (over/under) the game must go 9 innings (8 1/2 if the home team is ahead) to have action.
• Placing wagers on total runs will be refunded by FairDeal if a pitcher change occurs prior to both listed pitchers throwing at least one pitch.
• Placing Wagers for Run Line are the same as those for baseball totals.
• If a baseball game goes past nine full innings and is not completed (I.E. suspended, curfew, rain delay, etc) there will be action on Total and Run Line baseball betting wagers.
• A pitcher is deemed a starting pitcher after throwing one pitch.
• Baseball teams must play for there to be action, all FairDeal wagers included, all leagues included.
FairDeal events will not carry over to the following day (unless otherwise specified).

Fairdeal Sportsbook Baseball Betting Moneyline Wagers

FairDeal starts at a dime line (10 cents) on all side MLB sport book moneyline baseball betting wagers. Baseball betting moneyline wagering is simply placing wagers on the sportsbook contest based on a given price rather than a point spread. The team wagered on only has to win the game to be a winner!

Fairdeal Sportsbook Baseball Betting (moneyline) Parlay Payoffs

Because of the moneyline used in baseball, there are no set payoffs for tying a number of teams together in parlays. FairDeal payoffs are determined by a simple formula that changes the sports betting moneyline into a decimal number and combines it with the other lines in the parlay.

Fairdeal Sportsbook Baseball Betting Moneyline Wager Example

New York Yankees -155
Atlanta Braves +145
• A FairDeal gambler can choose one of two baseball betting moneyline wagers on this matchup: Baseball betting on the Yankees -155. If the Yankees win than the player is laying $155.00 to win $100.00. Wagering on the Braves +145. If the Braves win than the FairDeal gambler is who is wagering $100.00 wins $145.00.
FairDeal moneylines will be offered on all MLB sport book and College World Series games.
FairDeal Side (moneyline) baseball betting will be accepted in the following manner:
FairDeal action (any starting pitcher) - Team against team, regardless of the starting pitcher.
FairDeal re: Listed Pitchers (both specified pitchers) - If the starting pitchers are not exactly as listed when the "Listed" FairDeal wager is placed, the baseball betting wager will be deemed "No Action".
FairDeal sports betting gamblers (teams selected pitcher) - If the listed pitcher of the gamblers selected team does not start the game, the gamblers sportsbook wager will be deemed "No Action".
FairDeal opposing Baseball Betting (opposite teams selected pitcher)-If the listed pitcher of the opposing team does not start the game, the gamblers baseball betting wager will be deemed "No Action".
• In the event there is a pitching change prior to the start of the game, all FairDeal action wagers moneyline odds may be adjusted. If one scheduled pitcher starts against an unscheduled pitcher, "Action" baseball betting will be computed by the opening price with the new pitcher.

On a Total FairDeal baseball betting wager (over/under), the FairDeal gambler placing wagers on the total runs of the game by both teams, extra innings included.

If the total runs of both teams combined are more than 8 1/2, then the FairDeal gambler laid $125.00 to win $100.00. Betting on the Under 8 1/2 +105. If the total runs of both teams combined are less than 8 1/2, then the player who bet $100.00 wins $105.00.

FairDeal total placed wagers are "Listed", and will be deemed "No Action" in the event of a pitching change.

There is a limit of $250 on these lines, which will be lifted at 10:30 AM EST the following morning.

How to Figure Fairdeal Sportsbook Baseball Parlays

For each price or baseball betting odds quote on your teams, look at their respective payoffs (to $1) and always add $1 to these payoffs. Multiply your bet times the products of these payoffs (+$1) for your parlay return.

How to Figure Fairdeal Sportsbook Baseball Parlays Example:

A FairDeal gambler can bet $50 on the Cardinals (-150) parlayed to the Tigers (-130) Bet

Cardinals
Tigers
Return

(-150)
(-130)

$50 X 1.67 X 1.77 = $147.80

The return includes the $50 bet. The same method can be used for any number of teams. All Baseball Betting Side Parlays are "action." FairDeal Run Line & Total selections within a gamblers parlay will be voided by FairDeal should there be a pitching change.

Fairdeal Sportsbook Baseball Betting Round Robin Parlays

FairDeal offers Round Robin sports betting parlays. Round Robin sports betting is simply a nickname for parlay betting on a group of selections (at least three or more) that are to be included in a combination of individual parlays. Placing wagers can be done very easily at FairDeal , online or by telephone. For instance, if a FairDeal gambler asked for a $100, three-team Round Robin with teams A, B, and C, the gambler is simply requesting a two-team parlay with teams A and B, another parlay with teams A and C, and another with teams B and C, for a total of 3 individual parlays, each for $100. The total amount risked would be $300.
FairDeal Round Robins get more complex as the number of teams increases. A four-team Round Robin "by twos" for $100 would mean that the gambler wants four teams to be included in a combination of two-team parlays. This would be a total of six individual two-team parlays, for a total risk of $600. If the request is for Round Robin sports betting "by threes,” it would include a total of four possible combinations, for a risk of $400.

Fairdeal Sportsbook Baseball Betting Round Robin Parlays Example:

A FairDeal gambler requests a $100 four team Round Robin "by twos", with teams A, B, C and D. The possible combinations would be as follows:

Teams AB $100 to win $260
Teams AC $100 to win $260
Teams AD $100 to win $260
Teams BC $100 to win $260
Teams BD $100 to win $260
Teams CD $100 to win $260

If all four teams win, the FairDeal gambler wins $1240, while risking only $600! If one game loses, there is still a profit, even though three of the parlays would lose. The three winners get back $780, plus the $100 laid for each parlay, for a total of $1080. After subtracting $300 for the 3 losers, the player profits $480! Just like in FairDeal standard parlays, selections from every league and sportsbook can be included! The maximum payoff for any one parlay baseball betting wager shall be $50,000, whatever the stake, or theoretical payout displayed elsewhere on FairDeal sportsbook software.
